IIT Delhi hosted PMI India’s 4th Research & Academic Conference

Academicians were honoured by PMI India for extraordinary
contribution in the field of project management 

Mumbai, March  , 2017: Project Management Institute (PMI)’s fourth Research & Academic Conference on Project Management was hosted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on the theme ‘Accelerating Development: Harnessing the power of Project Management’.  PMI is the world’s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for project management. The three day professional development event for academicians and students commenced on March 02, 2017.

PMI India also presented Awards and commemoration to noted academicians during the conference for their extraordinary contribution in the field of project management. The award categories and winners include:

  1. PMI India Distinguished Fellow Award – Award Value (Rs) 5 lakhs

  2. PMI India Distinguished Scholar Award – Award Value proposed (Rs) 3 lakhs

The theme of the three day professional development event surrounds the fact that India needs qualified project professional in the increasing project work culture of today’s business environment.  The conference offered an opportunity for all project management professionals, academicians and students across India to come together, gain knowledge and share experiences.

The sessions conducted during conference covered diverse sectors and topics pertaining to project management which was delivered by industry experts from renowned institutions.
